I've stepped into a whole other world now that I'm designing for others. At our first big show, some of my models alerted me that a creepy man with an oddball approach was trying to recruit them to 'model' for him. He tried to give several of them his business card. While I didn't find the man, I had a good idea of who it was. I suddenly felt like I had to protect ten models, it was ridiculous! Although, I daresay, none of my models were stupid enough to take him up on it. But as the designer, well. I think beautiful women are used to telling losers to hit the road. Fortunately none of my male models were bothered. I don't think so, anyway.
I'm doing mostly men's clothing next show, and I just don't know that many guys that look nice in my clothing, so I'm going to have to recruit. To avoid looking like some creep with a business card, I must develop a professional approach, other than "I'm a fashion designer. Have you ever considered modeling?"

It worked before!
